True story: Years ago, a client came to me for Reiki to help him with his hearing issues. Prior to our sessions together, he had been seeing a sound healer in Hong Kong, but he left frustrated. He asked the sound practitioner a simple question: How does sound heal?
The practitioner couldn't answer. He stumbled through explanations about frequency, energy, vibration, but nothing connected. It was all just a jumble of metaphysical terminology that kept looping on itself. Nothing made sense. The client left confused, and ultimately, he left that practitioner behind.
